- Online registration can be done from 30th May to 14th June. The first cutoff will be declared on 20th June.
- This year there has been a hike in the registration fees. Merit based courses saw a hike of 60% whereas the fees for entrance based courses has risen by 60%.
- If you wish to change your stream or change any subject (and including one which wasn’t studied in class 12th), there will be a deduction of 1%, when calculating Best of 4.
- If you wish to change two or more subjects, the deduction will be of maximum 2%. Earlier, this deduction used to be of 2.5%.
- Inclusion of vocational subjects in calculation of Best of 4 will mean a deduction of 2.5%.
- If you are including Modern Indian Languages in the calculation of Best of 4, there will be no deduction. (This includes all the 22 languages in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution).
- Biochemistry and Biotechnology will be considered equal to biology.
- If you wish to pursue B.A. (H) Economics, you will have to score more than 60% in the language you have included in the best of 4.
- Students are no longer required to submit original documents in the college, at the time of admission.
- There will be a separate cutoff for the 10% EWS category.
- The students of the reserved category will have a special drive in the 3rd and 4th cutoff.
- Yoga will be considered as ECA and will be considered for admission.
- If you wish to apply under the sports quota, only 27 sports will be considered this time.
- Free waiver to students whose parents are decreased and scholarship for those whose parents are unemployed.
- The admission portal will itself suggest courses based on the best of 4/ best of 3.
- DU has tied up with CBSE and will directly get your result from them.
- You can see the live display of number of seats available in the colleges, on the admission portal.
- You can make payments virtually on the admission portal.
- If you forgot to apply for any course while registering, you can edit your form till the registration ends by paying a fees of Rs.100
- The admission withdrawal fee has increased to Rs.1000
- Only one cancellation is allowed for one cutoff
